Dennis E. Daffron, 69, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2024, at in Anderson, Indiana following an extended illness.
He was born on July 24, 1954, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Lester and Jeanette (Collins) Daffron.
He graduated from Anderson High School and Tri-State University. He retired as a foreman from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in Anderson.
He loved Florida. He loved fishing, motorcycles, being outdoors and the water. He enjoyed woodworking and made fishing lures. Most of all, he loved his family. He was a member of the Anderson Moose Lodge #150, the Elks and the American Legion.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Brenda (Yeager) Daffron; two daughters, Michele (husband, Shawn) Frogge and Michele (husband, Tim) Marsh, both of Anderson; three grandchildren, Jazmin, Jayda and Jayson; and one great-grandchild, Axel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Megan Mendez.
Cremation will take place. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051.
