Gregory Lamar Clark

Gregory Lamar Clark was born on July 27, 1952 to Nathaniel and Mildred Clark. His early education was at English Avenue Elementary School, West Fulton High School and he attended Mercy University. He did his internship at Grady Memorial Hospital. He is the father of two Sons (Demartis and Gregory Clark Jr.). Gregory was a man of many talents; He was a gifted musician, especially "keyboards and drums." He was baptized as a child at Antioch Baptist Church. Gregory was one of the "Top Club Promoters" in Atlanta during the 70's era and early 80's. He brought numerous R&B bands to Atlanta, GA and was very good friends with the legendary "4 time Grammy Award Winner" Isaac Hayes. In addition, he work closely with Atlanta's own Fashion Icon Gorgeous George and many others. Gregory also own a Modeling Agency and put on fashion shows throughout the Atlanta area during this time. You can say he was a jack of all trades. His Mother taught all her children how to cook and dress well. That lesson he learn from his MOM, allowed him to make a smooth transition from the Music Business to a second career as a Certified Chef. He was the "Head Chef' at the Peachtree Plaza and the Marriott Hotel. During his later years in life he experienced a lot of "medical diagnoses" which caused his health to decline. Throughout all his "Trials and Tribulations" his faith in GOD never wavered. _He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers and Sisters. He is survived by his ex-wife Joyce Clark, Son, Gregory Lamar Clark Jr, Granddaughter Lamri, Stepdaughter Jocelyn (Buffey), Son Demartis Clark, (Wife Alicia), Grandchildren, Demartis Clark Jr., Amartis Benjamin Jr., Kentrell Clark, Sister Janice (Jerry) Brooks, Brother Freddy Clark, his beloved Girlfriend Bonita Arnold and a host of the "Clark's Family Villa
