James is survived by his two sons: Matthew Dean of Indianapolis and Timothy "Bobby" Dean (Bethany) of Indianapolis; two siblings: Jon Cogswell of Plainfield and Angela Gregory of Mooresville; and six grandchildren. James is preceded in death by both of his parents; and one son, Joe Dean.
James was a Mechanic for Cougar Bag in Mooresville for two years. He was known as a big hearted man. James loved to be outdoors, especially camping.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
Memorial contributions may be made in James memory to help offset funeral expenses c/o Angela Gregory, 147 Ashbury Ridge, Mooresville, Indiana 46158
