Janice Regina Golden

Janice Regina Marlow Golden, 73, of Pace, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Janice was a native of Bonifay, Florida and the only daughter of Richard C. and Jennie Lee Marlow. She graduated from Pensacola Technical High School as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked in various hospitals, landing in Pediatrics, which she loved. Janice also served as the Children's Ministry Director at Pace Assembly of God and then the director of Golden Rule Christian School. Janice attended Olive Baptist Church and loved being a part of her Sunday School, the Book by Book Connection Group.
Janice was an amazing wife and mother. She always put others before herself and poured the Word of God into both her family and her teaching. Janice shared a love for genealogy with her husband, Luther. This love brought them on adventures throughout the State of Florida and into Alabama. They enjoyed filling the pages of their family's lineage, often personally meeting newly found family members along the way. While at home she poured that same love and favor into her grandchildren and most recently her great grandchildren. This love and attention will be deeply missed by us all. Before her passing, she encouraged us all to keep our faith and love God, as we enter the mission field.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Crawford Marlow; her mother, Jennie Lee Chitty Marlow; her brother, Austin Marlow; her niece, Ramona McCall; and her nephew and great-nephew, Danny and Drew Marlow.
Janice is survived by her husband of 56 years, Luther V. Golden, of Pace, Florida; her daughter, Karen (Michael) Robinson, of Pace, Florida; her son, Tim (April) Golden, of Innerarity Point, Florida; six grandchildren, Taylor L. Golden, of Charlotte, North Carolina; Deven (Alexis) Golden, of Dothan, Alabama; Dylan (Jewelia) Robinson, of Gainesville, Florida; Gage Nicholson, of Pensacola, Florida; Zoe Goins, of Innerarity Point, Florida; and Isabella Robinson, of Pace, Florida; and two great-grandchildren, Avaleigh and Elliana Golden, of Dothan, Alabama.
A Funeral Service on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Lewis Funeral Home Pace Chapel, 4777 West Spencer Field Road Pace, Florida 32571, with visitation from 11:00-12:00pm and service at 12:00pm.
The Family wishes to thank the Book by Book Connection Group of Olive Baptist Church for their undying dedication and support of Janice and her family during and after her time of illness. They would also like to thank VITAS Healthcare and her nurses, Danielle, Valerie, and Ellen, for their care and support given to Janice during this time.
