Lewis B. Hinton Sr.

Lewis B. Hinton, Sr. was born to the late Oscar McMillan and Fannie Mae Hinton Paschal in Ft. Pierce, Florida on February 5, 1948.
Lewis attended the local public schools for his early education, graduating from Lincoln Park Academy class of 1968. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. and served in Vietnam as a Lance Corporal before being honorably discharged. Shortly after that, he earned a certification in Masonry. Lewis then married his high school sweetheart, Beverly J. Hines on December 20, 1970.
Among many things, Lewis enjoyed spending time with family and friends, supporting veteran causes, The Charles O. Hines American Legion Post 171, of Fort Pierce, Lincoln Park Class of 1968, completing "handyman" type jobs and doing what he absolutely loved which was working outside in his yard when he transitioned on July 4, 2024.
He leaves behind his devoted wife: Beverly H. Hinton; son: Lewis B. Hinton, Jr.; daughter: Teresa M. Hinton; granddaughters: Danya'Dia, Ce'Vaeh, and Ash'Lyn; seven sisters: Autherine, Edyth, Claretha (Henry), Pearline of GA, Odessa of GA, Faye of GA, Ruby (Jeff) of GA; eight brothers: Alvin, Tommy, John, Ronald, Thomas (Sheila) of GA, Marshall, Samuel of GA, Nathaniel (Sharon) of FL; and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
