Margaret Torres Haines, age 50, of Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Margaret is survived by her devoted husband, Travis Haines; beloved daughters, Jessica Dejesus and Erica Dejesus; father, Felipe Torres; sisters, Evelina Torres, Lourdes Torres-Fuster, Shirley Rodriguez; and brother, Phillip Torres.
She was born on April 18th, 1972 and grew up in Elizabeth, NJ. She was raised by her amazing parents who created a very special family and the foundation for an incredible human being.
Margaret attended St. Patrick's High School and went on to receive her Associate Degree, specializing in Court Reporting. She later moved to PA where she met and married the love of her life.
Family was her priority and there was no greater pleasure for her than to enjoy time with them. Special occasions with her family topped the list of her joys in life. Margaret was a dedicated mother and amazing wife and she loved her family endlessly. Her passion for animals always had her catering to numerous pets throughout her life.
She bravely battled Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer for over 2.5 years and through it all Margaret continued to brighten the world with her amazing smile and contagious personality. She provided a level of kindness to the world not often seen by many.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Margaret Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. There will be a prayer service on Wednesday December 14, 2022 at the funeral home at 11AM, Internment will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Newark NJ.
