Mildred C. "Millie" (Manville) Knight, 85, of Ayer, formerly of Pembroke, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on January 28, 1940 a daughter of the late Elliott and Edith (Ogden) Manville and had resided on Silver Lake in Pembroke for 35 years before moving to Ayer.
Millie along with her husband owned and operated a residential cleaning service for many years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at her lake home with her husband Paul; traveling; gardening; and reading.
She was an active member of the Plymouth Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years.
Millie leaves behind her husband, Paul M. Knight of New Boston, NH; her son William Knight of Los Alamos, NM; her daughter, Laura Dallman and her husband Blane Dallman of New Boston, NH; her brother, Elliott Manville and his wife Joice of Rochester NH; her sister Joyce Frazee and her husband Jim of South Yarmouth, MA; four grandchildren, Aaron, Jared, Brett and Ashley, and nephews and nieces.
She is predeceased by her two sisters, Diane Perkins and Anne Gerrish; her daughter-in-law Doreen Knight and her grandson, Steven Knight.
The Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., Ayer is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements which will be held privately.
