On Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, Ryan William Stewart, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully in his home in Choctaw, at the age of 38.
Ryan was born on February 17, 1985 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Mike and Sherry Stewart. He graduated from Carl Albert High School in 2004. Ryan worked many years as a vendor with Bluebell, Mondelez, and Pepsi. Most recently Ryan was employed at Tinker Air Force Base as a Sheet Metal Mechanic.
On January 13, 2015 he married Amanda Leigh Stewart. They raised 3 daughters, Marissa, Mackenna, and Payten Stewart born May 26, 2015.
Ryan had a passion for sports, gambling, music, traveling, and working out. Although he lived in Oklahoma, he was an avid Texas Longhorns fan. Ryan spent countless hours on the golf course, hanging out with friends, watching football, listening to the sports animal, and spending time with his family.
Ryan was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Richard "Dick" Stewart, paternal grandmother Arlene Stewart, maternal grandfather Robert Caruso, and maternal grandmother Betty Motes. He is survived by his wife Amanda, his daughter Payten Stewart, two stepdaughters Marissa Scott and Mackenna Scott, father Michael Stewart and stepmother Janie, mother Sherry Stewart, sister Debra and Husband Jim Potter, sister Sheila and husband Brandon Cruze, Stepsister Allison McLemore, Stepbrother Matt High, Sister in Law Kristie and husband Jon Mabie, along with his six nephews John, Ryan, Brandon, Porter, Jace, and Cade, and two nieces Jacklyn and Caitlyn.
Visitation will be at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, Saturday, April 1, 8:00am to 8:00pm, and Sunday, April 2, 8:00am to 8:00pm.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, April 3, 2023, at Cornerstone Church, Midwest City, 9900 SE 15th St, Midwest City, OK 73130.
