Sandra "Sandi" Roy of Granbury passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Fort Worth. She was born April 25, 1955 in Lawrence, Indiana to Lt. Col. William Tatsch and Ruth Clarke Tatsch. The youngest of three children, she was the only girl and was the family's princess. The family settled in west Fort Worth, where Sandi graduated from Paschal High School in 1973.
Sandi married William "Bubba" Roy III on September 27, 1974 in Fort Worth. She recently retired after 40-plus years of service at the National Archives Center in Fort Worth. Sandi loved to spend time at the Texas Coast, hunting, anything horse related and spending time with her family and friends.
Sandi is preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and brother, Steve Tatsch. She is survived by her husband Bubba Roy; children and spouses William "Sonny" and Jennifer Roy, Tracy and Marvin Holmes, Shawn and Lindsay Roy all of Granbury; grandchildren Montana, Quintin, Kennedy, Cheyanne, Wyatt, Kaytlynne, Bailey, Hunter and Carly; brother, Bill Tatsch, nephew Billy and Sally Tatsch; fur babies Ebony, Reno and Sage; and a host of extended family and friends.
