Susan VanOrman

Canandaigua – Susan (Beaton) VanOrman, age 75, passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Hospeace House in Naples. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Julie) Chiccino and Thomas Chiccino III (Victoria Coleman); three grandchildren, Thomas Chiccino IV (Katie Donegan), Katelyn (Jeremy) Unterborn and Johnathan Chiccino; a great-granddaughter, Aubriana; sister, Barbara (David) Unell; dear friend and neighbor, Sandy; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard "Curt" VanOrman in 1998; and three siblings, Jack and Jim Beaton, and Nancy Mullin.
Susan was born and raised in Canandaigua and was the daughter of John and Esther (Jacobson) Beaton. She was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1965. Susan was a devoted homemaker and later worked at Quail Summit in Canandaigua. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Susan also loved dogs and watching old movies.
