My condolences to the Coskey Family. I worked with Bill from 1980 to 83 at US Coast Guard Station Ft. Totten in Queens NY. Bill was an MK/Mechanic that kept our station and search and rescue boats CG 41412, CG 30594, CG 191503 up and running. Bill learned his trade under the tutelage of crackerjack mechanic MK1 Mark Sala, so it´s no surprise he worked for Boeing aircraft. I attended shipboard firefighting school with Bill and Ivan Montero sometime around 1981 at the Philadelphia Navy yard. While there we visited Bill`s sister and brother-in-law at their home and also traveled to the Milton Hershey school that he attended in Pennsylvania. Lots of funny stories I could tell about Bill! With confidence, we knew while running down to the CG 41412, and CG 30594, on search and rescue calls, that there would be no issue, not even a thought, that our boats would run. If ever a mechanical problem arose while underway, Bill was on top of it! Not only was Bill in charge of the engine room, but helped topside as a deckhand during sinkings, boat fires, water rescues and the never ending towing operations. God Bless you Bill, till we meet again. BM2 TJ May 631-258-6507

Billy,
Your spirit, your love of life and family, your love of MHS and your kindness to all will be missed, for so much longer than our sadness and tears will last. And that, our brother, is why you will live on in our hearts until we meet again.
