Kenneth J. Rich

Kenneth J. Rich, 63, of Hartford, passed away suddenly on August 5, 2013. Born in Hartford on June 16, 1950, son of the late Alfred Leland Rich and Doris (Willette) Rich, he grew up in Newington. Ken attended St. Mary's School, graduated from Newington High School and then attended Hartford State Technical School. He was employed by Har-Conn Chrome Co., West Hartford for many years. Ken had an appreciation for all animals and was an avid reader. He was well liked by many and will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, easy-going personality and kind manner. Survivors include his two brothers Bradley and his wife Kelly Rich of Edmond, Oklahoma, Douglas and his wife Laurie Rich of Hampden, Maine, his two sisters Kathleen Rich of South Windsor, Joan Ellen Rich and Diane Spoelma of Springhill, FL and several nieces and nephews.
