Emory Carmack Florence Jr., age 85, of Camden, TN passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Florence was born November 1, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant, TN to the late Emory Carmack Florence and the late Linnie Lashlee Florence. He was also preceded by a brother, Robert Florence and granddaughter, Ashley Peyton Florence. Mr. Florence retired after over 35 years with AT&T. He was a member of Camden First United Methodist Church, a Lifetime member of the Camden Elks Lodge, Communication Workers of America and Ducks Unlimited.

Sons: Emory (Peggy) Florence III of Camden, TN
Mark (Millette) Florence of Camden, TN
Sister: Lee (Jimmy) McKeel of Winter Haven, FL
Brother-in-law: Ray Pierce of Camden, TN
Sister-in-law: Linda Florence of Farragut, TN
Grandchildren: Sara (Chase) Horton, Hannah (Jonathan) Coffman, Nicholas Florence
Great Grandchildren: Gemma, Pierce, Campbell, Gideon, Gibson, Graham
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Kelchner officiating. Burial will follow in the Camden City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church in Camden .
