Not a day goes by that we don't think of you. Man, I miss you like crazy. Your birthday was a few days ago. Crazy to think that you turned 47 yrs. old but somehow managed to stay holding at age 44. The kids are growing up so fast as you can see .... I'm sorry that you are not here but I know you are always with them. I bet you are proud. They are amazing and so much like you. Love you hubby!

My husband, Ken Dillon, and I were deeply saddened to hear of Eric's passing. He was a student of mine when he was 13, and his energy was exciting and fun and positive. He and Elias Hill, our son, were the same age, and the shared activities, sport participation, and adventures created bonds never forgotten. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Just heard the tragic news. Eric was a way back friend and a teammate. No words can heal the broken heart but to let his loved ones know he was a great guy. RIP Hancock.

Terribly sorry for your loss. My son played on Eric's Jr. Jazz basketball team a few years back and he was wonderful with the boys. He will be missed by so many. My prayers are with you. Eric will now be your Angel in the Outfield. Go CUBS!
