When Mark was growing up in Ferron, he was best friends with my son Chris, at times he felt like a second son to me...my heart is broken, he was the sweetest, kindest & funniest kid. I'm proud to know he grew into the amazing young man I knew he would. He was truly one of God's Treasures...

Dear Elizabeth -- You and Mark had such a beautiful relationship from the very beginning and time only strengthened your togetherness -- I have used your story as a sweet example and it has blessed the lives of others. We are praying for you and your daughters and send you our heartfelt love at this very tender time. Love, Bonnie (and Carvel) Shaffer
