Suzanne Chick Obituary
66, of Paradise Valley, AZ passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016, after a seven year battle with carcinoid cancer. Born on January 6, 1950 in Houston, TX to Raymond Ladislav Laeve and Helen Mae (Massey) Laeve. She attended Glendale High School and obtained her bachelor's degree from Arizona State in 1972. The loving wife of William S. Chick for 38 years, she was a devoted Mother to her four children, Chris(37), Billy(33), Melissa(31) and Kim(26). She was the beloved sister of Douglas Laeve, Charlotte Sindlinger, and Laura Causer. She was a cherished friend to many. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her ready smile and amiable personality. In particular, during her final months she was tenderly cared for and encouraged by Kathy Farr. Her two wonderful dogs, Shooga and Alfie, will miss her gentle strokes. She will continue on in her new role as guardian angel to watch over and guide the rest of us through our lives without her. Godspeed, dearest Suzanne. You were loved by many and admired by all who knew you. The family has made private plans to celebrate Suzanne's life. They truly appreciate all the condolences, cards, and fond remembrances. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name
