Daniel Mangus Obituary
Age 74, of Canton, passed away Saturday April 8, 2017 in his home following an extended illness. He was born June 20, 1942 in Canton to the late Donald and Anna Mangus. Daniel was a graduate of Canton South High School and retired from the Hoover Company after 30 years of service. He was a member of the American Sportsman's Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Mangus. Daniel is survived by his wife, Marcia A. (Wetzel) Mangus to whom he was married 25 years; two daughters, Wendy Albertson and Jill (John) Guiffre; five grandchildren, Brent and Nickolas Wilson, Matt Casey, Johnny II and Erika Guiffre; three great-grandchildren, Matt Casey II, Lewis Wilson and Rylan Casey; one brother and four sisters.
Friends will be received Friday April 14, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. There are no other public services. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.

Good memories of when we used to pick berries in back of the house and make homemade ice cream.Dad and Dan going hunting ,famous eating contest at Thanksgiving dinner with Gary { I think it was a tie].I also remember the beautiful flowers in the back yard at his house.Sharing good times with him and Marcia at all the family gatherings.
