CROPPER

David "Sam", age 72, December 22, 2013, Georgetown. Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Lindsey). Devoted father of Alicia (Shane) Shope and Jill (Jeff) Brickner. Loving grandfather of Emily, Grace, Logan and Avery Shope and Troy and Samantha Brickner. Dear brother-in-law of Patricia (Kirby) Cornett and Mary (the late Larry) Lindsey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sam was a mathematics teacher for thirty-one years in the New Richmond and Georgetown Exempted Village School Districts and since 1978 he was a real estate broker and was the owner of Hook Realty in Georgetown, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Georgetown United Methodist Church, 217 S. Main Street, Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Interment in the Confidence Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Georgetown United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. www.Cahallfuneralhomes.com

i enjoyed the answer he gave me on how he got the name sam. being a graduate of g-town it seems like I always knew Sam cropper not dave. he's had a long journey now he can rest.
