Haley Link Brinkmeyer

Evansville - Haley Link Brinkmeyer, 28, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her home.

Haley was born on August 4, 1992, the youngest daughter of Shauna (O'Neill) and Steve Link. She attended Cynthia Heights Grade School, Helfrich Park Middle School and graduated from Reitz High in 2011. She and her future husband, Evan were crowned basketball homecoming queen and king at Reitz. Haley had a competitive spirit and played soccer, softball and basketball. Her coaches had a strong impact on her life, they were like family to her. She graduated from University of Evansville in 2018 with a doctorate in physical therapy and was a member of AOII Sorority and participated in the Buddy Program. She worked at North River Health Campus.

Haley enjoyed Kentucky Lake and beach vacations with her family. She was a Cardinals baseball fan.

Haley's smile captured the hearts of all who knew and loved her and we will miss her presence in our lives.

Haley is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 2 years, Evan R. Brinkmeyer; her parents, Shauna (O'Neill) and Steve Link, sisters, Kayci Merriwether (Ryan) and Jackie Pullom (Nate) all of Evansville, IN; grandfather, Jack O'Neill of Grayville, IL; sisters-in-law, Haley Brinkmeyer, Deavon Rolley-White; mother-in-law, Sue Rolley (Scott) of Evansville, IN; father-in-law, Jim Brinkmeyer all of Evansville, IN; nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Norman, Sa'nai Pullom, Donovan Merriwether, Dylan Merriwether and Malakai Rolley.

A celebration of Haley's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021 at The Turning Pointe United Methodist Church, 9800 Middle Mt. Vernon Rd., Evansville, IN 47712 with Pastor Scott Cassel officiating. Burial will follow at Zoar United Church of Christ in Evansville, Indiana.

Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the church and again from 11:00 am until service time on Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Haley Link Brinkmeyer Foundation, c/o Banterra Bank to provide assistance and medicine for diabetes patients.
