Keith Bard Bobbitt, 75, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Park Terrace Nursing Home. He was born April 18, 1943 in East Alton, Illinois to the late Kenneth and Hazel (Bruce) Bobbitt.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mary Katheryn Bobbitt; daughter, Lori Ann Bobbitt-Young; and son, Brian Keith Bobbitt and his wife, Kelly Nicole, all of Evansville. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cassandra Grace Young, Morgan Nicole Bobbitt, and Lucas Keith Bobbitt. Additionally, he is survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Keith graduated from North High School in 1961, the University of Evansville in 1965 with a BME degree, a Master of Arts degree from University of Evansville in 1970, and an additional degree in social studies from USI. He taught music and coached basketball and football in Mishawaka, IN for two years before returning to Evansville. He taught music, social studies, and technology at Culver Elementary and West Terrace Elementary for his remaining teaching career. He was very active with computers and 3D printing, genealogy research, and was a former member of the Evansville Racing Pigeon Club.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time, 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 17, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville, Indiana with interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
