Having just hearing of Marks´ passing, I am deeply saddened by this news. Being Marks´ cousin, I´ve known him most of his life. Even at our family reunions, Mark, his brothers, and I would being wrestling around in the grass. Mark was, truly, a remarkable athlete. Rest in peace, cousin !! "GUTS ARE GOLDEN"

To the Zimmer Family
On behalf of the students, faculty, administration, parents, and alumni of Saint Francis DeSales High School please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of this beautiful soul.
To all who were blessed to know Mark it was readily apparent that his love of Christ , family and friends were his greatest priorities. Mark was a true inspiration in the way that he lived his life. The term CHAMPION is used universally by those who knew and loved Mark and there is no question he was the personification of that word. Mark was a champion in that he lived with passion and he lived for others. Simply put, Mark was a humble servant of Christ. He was an example of a living Disciple.
The Saint Francis DeSales community and our world has lost a profound difference maker. To his beautiful wife, daughter, parents, siblings , and countless friends please know that our school community holds you in our prayers. May Christ's love and the warmth of your memories lift you during these difficult days.
Eternal rest be granted to him O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him.
Peace and God's Blessings,
Dan Garrick
