It was great privilege to team up with Craig at the Logistics Management Institute. He was a ton of fun and always an encourager. He tricked me into writing by co-authoring papers.
But the best part was needling him about his Tri-saca-phobia (can't play third base). He was a reliable hitter on the LMI softball team, but countless grounders would go between his legs before he could lean down to get the ball.
Rest in peace you old jokester you.

I never knew Mr. Sherbrooke but I am grateful for all his research and contributions to Logistics and Operations Research. Reading this obituary sheds more light to me about his great accomplishments. May we have more people like him in the world.
