Ernest was our wedding photographer in 1979. We were so lucky to have him take these forever photographs. Every time we look at them we remember his aratistry, and, his huge sense of humour. Rest in peace.

I loved Ernst. He was always quick to smile and always had time to stop and chat. Ernst Floeter may just be the last of the Grand Ledge icons that influenced the town I knew from the 60's. One in a million, I'll miss Ernst a lot.

I will always remember Ernst's photography talent. I remember one of his signature photos was the bride in the mirror with her bouquet. I remember how beautiful the bride was in this particular pose enough that I had the photographer for my daughter's wedding take the same photo. Dorothea my thoughts are with you.

Ernst was always a delight to run into in the Lansing and Grand Ledge photographic community. I so enjoyed his good humor and wonderful energy. He will be missed by not only his family, but the greater Lansing community at large.

Nell, Dorothea, Dietrich and family,
Ray and I send our heartfelt condolences. Your Dad and Mom were both an inspiration and a gentle guiding light to both of us. They spread their wings around us as we first set foot here in Michigan. We will miss Dad, but I am sure you know he is at peace and his wonderful memories will be in your hearts forever.
Sorry we won't be able to attend as we are scheduled to be out of town..but know we are thinking of you and yours through this difficult time. God Bless!
