Edward D. Parrish, Jr.
Edward D. Parrish, Jr. of Easton, PA, died January 9, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospice. He was the partner of James Somogyi. Born 11 April 1951 in Holyoke, MA, he was the son of the late Edward Dexter and Mariette Beeck Parrish. A graduate of Bedford High School, Ed received degrees in Juvenile Psychology (BS) and Criminal Justice (MA) from Arizona State University and an Associate in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University. Ed worked as a security consultant to the U.S. Government in locations around the world before returning to Bedford to care for his ailing parents. Most recently he worked for Walgreens Asset Protection. Ed was a Mason and served as past master of the Frank W. Thompson Lodge, Bedford, MA, and was active in the Shriners. Services: Graveside service at Easton Cemetery on January 13 at 2 p.m. Mr. Somogyi will receive visitors at the family home on Monday evening from 6 until 9.
