Aaron M. Hobart

Aaron M. Hobart, age 29, of Appleton, WI, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 as the result of an accident at his workplace.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, 2201 Chestnut Street, Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
Aaron was born April 5, 1993 in Wisconsin Rapids to Paul and Laurie (Freeberg) Hobart. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and furthered his education at Mid-State Technical College. He married Haley Meyer on October 6, 2018 in Eagle, Wisconsin.
Aaron worked for Verso Corporation in Wisconsin Rapids before taking a position as a laborer in the boiler department at Ahlstrom-Munksjo Paper Company in Kaukauna.
Aaron loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, attending rock music concerts, and especially spending time with his family. His favorite things included coffee, pizza, the band Alterbridge, and the color Purple. He was known for his dry sense of humor and his "dad jokes". He loved to bake and enjoyed treating his family to fresh chocolate chip cookies.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Haley and son Aaron Jr. of Appleton, WI; parents, Paul Hobart and Laurie (Darwin) Scoville of Wisconsin Rapids; sister, Ashley Wasmundt of Wisconsin Rapids; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronald (Lisa) Meyer of Watertown, WI; and three nephews: Ivan, Ezra and Ronan Wasmundt. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
