Ada Nan Muller, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away at her home in
Boerne, Texas on March 24, 2024. Born in
Bunkie, Louisiana on January 15, 1941, Ada was the cherished daughter of John and Martha Collins.
For nearly 50 years, Ada shared a profound and beautiful bond with her beloved husband Ken, whom she often described as her soulmate and best friend. Together, they embraced a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever be treasured.
Ada was not only a devoted wife and mother but also an active member of her community. She had a passion for bridge, gathering with her bridge club twice a year for over six decades. Her love for literature was evident through her longtime membership in the Boerne Literary Club, where she engaged in meaningful discussions and shared her passion for books with fellow members.
Ada's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she served her Lord faithfully by dedicating her time and talents to various church committees in leadership and service roles. She also served as Chairperson for the Kendall County Crusade Against Cancer, demonstrating her commitment to helping others and making a difference in the lives of those battling illness.
Ada's warm and loving nature touched the hearts of everyone she met. Upon hearing of her passing, many expressed how she was not only loving but also incredibly sweet, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Ada was preceded in death by her parents Martha and John Collins, her sisters Jean Kelly and Sue Collins, and her daughter Amy Boulanger. She is survived by her husband, former Kendall County Judge, Ken Muller, daughter Barbara Ebner of
Georgetown, Texas, stepson Kurt Muller of
Boerne, Texas, and stepdaughter Jeanne Frye of Morrow Bay, California. Her 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren will fondly remember her love and her famous mac and cheese, a Thanksgiving tradition that brought joy to their gatherings.
Ada Nan Muller's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a beacon of light in the lives she touched. May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones.
