Ada Lelia Jones Tranbarger, 82, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Hospice Home. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Rev. Roy Lynwood Tranbarger.
Ada retired from Westpoint Stevens and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, making crafts and caring for others. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Gallimore and husband, Danny of Haw River and her son, Gary Tranbarger and wife, Dawn of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Chase (Amber) Isley, Christopher (Michelle) Tranbarger, Meagan (Nikki) Mullins and Nick (Kristen) Tranbarger; great grandchildren, Keidan, Skylar, Madeline and three great grandchildren on the way; siblings, Lee Jones and wife, Ann, Sammy Jones and wife, Gloria, Iris Graham and husband, Vern, Janet Miles and husband, Robert, Diane Baxter and Benny Jones and wife, Linda. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Winfred Lee Jones, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Sykes Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective (Hospice) of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
