He is retired from Delco Remy and was a member of Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
William and his wife Christine (Stanton) Tranbarger were married for 75 years and had three children: Stephen (Charlotte) Tranbarger of Anderson, IN, daughter, Linda Widdifield (deceased), and Sandra (Rev. Ron) Hunt of San Jose, CA, and have several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Tranbarger; daughter, Linda Widdifield; mother, Jesse Tranbarger; and father, George Tranbarger.
Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN on Thursday, July 13th at 10:30 AM, with the service beginning promptly at 11:30 AM. The Rev. Dan Alexander will be officiating.
Burial will take place in the Sunset Memorial Park, Elwood.
Memorial contributions may be made at 4others.org; a non-profit child sponsorship program dear to William's heart.
