Adela Diana (Soto) Nash of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on August 11, 2022, at the age of 72. Adela was born on June 21, 1950, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Jose Galvan Soto and Audrey Winifred Elizabeth (Wheeler) Soto.
After the passing of her beloved husband, Adela's mathematical skill and great love of numbers led her to a fulfilling career in the finance industry, and she worked for H&R Block from 1999 through 2010.
Affectionately known to most in her life as "The Quilter", Adela was a prolific crafter who loved making clothing and handmade gifts for her loved ones. She was a wonderful homemaker who made the best pies in the world, her specialties being her pecan and apple pies, both of which were requested often and enthusiastically by her family over the years. She enjoyed gardening and liked growing vegetables and flowers, and you could often spot her in her flower beds lovingly tending to her hollyhocks. She liked keeping her mind active with sudoku and crossword puzzles, and she loved traveling, having recently taken a trip to England with her daughter, Leah. Adela touched the hearts of many with her loving, sweet personality. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George D. Nash, her father, Jose Galvan Soto, and her mother, Audrey Winifred Elizabeth Soto.
Left to treasure her memory are two children, son Daniel Nash and his significant other, Kathie Nicoletti, and daughter Leah Nash; her sisters-in-law, Nywana Gober, Myrna Nelson and husband Delbert, Paulette Blakeslee and husband Jonathan, Barbara Nash, and Peggy Helzer and husband Jerry; along with many other loving family members and friends.
