Albert F. Higgins Jr., 80, passed away peacefully in Troy, NY on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
He was the son to the late Albert Higgins Sr. and Yvonne (Bergeron) Higgins.
Albert grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Bristol Memorial High School in 1963. Following graduation, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served for ten years. During his time with the Navy, he met the love of his life, Cat who was also in the Navy. After being honorably discharged, they made their lives in New York and had two wonderful sons, Christopher and Adam.
During his time in New York, he first worked for First Albany Corporation and then worked for C.L. King and Associates until he retired.
Al was a sports aficionado who loved to watch and play all kinds of different sports, particularly basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, swimming, and racquetball.
Albert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catharine Higgins and their two children, Christopher and Adam Higgins. As well as his beautiful beloved granddaughter, Aria Melody Higgins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary.
On behalf of the family, no services will be held at this time.
