Albert E. "Chip" Houck, III, born on June 13, 1955, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, at the age of 70. He spent his career as an IT lead in airport automation at Delta Airlines with 42 years of dedicated service. Chip was preceded in death by his father, Albert E. "Al" Houck, Jr., and his brother-in-law, Fred Ohm. He leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Ellen Houck; his sons, Nick Houck and wife Megan, and Justin Houck and wife Leah; his mother, Marilyn Williams; and his treasured grandchildren, Avery Houck, Tucker Houck, and Joni Houck. He is also survived by his sister, Laurie James and her husband Doug, his brother, Steve Houck, and his sister, Debi Foley, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. A celebration of Chip's life will be held at Line Creek Brewery in Peachtree City on Thursday, August 7, 2025, 4-7PM drop-in. Suggested dress… 'Chip-casual'. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories of a man who was deeply loved, a special light to those he met, and who will be greatly missed by all.
