Funeral services for Albert “Red” Scott Jr., 89, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, Louisiana with Rev. Richard Bowles and Irma Dark officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, in Calhoun, Louisiana.
Mr. Scott was born on October 15, 1933 in Rayville, LA., and passed away on September 23, 2023, in West Monroe, Louisiana. Mr. Scott worked for the Phil Waltz Pharmacy for over 20 years and for Monroe Wholesale Drugs. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Scott loved working on his farm in Calhoun, LA.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Viola “Vi” Scott, parents, Albert L. Scott, Sr., and Agnes Scott.
He is survived by his son, Kenneth L. Scott and wife, Laurie; grandchildren, Kenneth L. “Bo” Scott, Jr. and wife, Shelly, Michael K. Scott, and Katherine Elizabeth Scott; great grandchildren, Kennedy Ann Scott, Joel Anthony Scott; numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bo Scott, Michael Scott, Todd Scott, Terry Scott, and Steve Dark.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time Tuesday September 26, 2023 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
