Sunbury – Alexis E. Wagner, 32, of Fairmount Ave, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at her home.
Born in Danville on April 24, 1993 to Thorton “Joe” Wagner, III, and Amy C. Barnhart. She was a 2011 graduate of Shikellamy High School. She graduated with an associate Degree in nursing from Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Alexis was currently working on her Bachelors.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Sunbury. She worked as a registered nurse at Geisinger-Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Coal Township.
Alexis was a dedicated mother, her life revolved around her children, their schooling and sports. In her spare time, she focused on her studies to become a registered nurse.
Alexis is survived by her two daughters, Lilly Poff, and Hailey Stahl; son, Noah Stahl; her companion, Darryll Elliott; mother, Amy C. Barnhart and her companion, Jeff Corcoran; father, Joe Wagner and his companion, Rose Gemberling; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Suzanne (Metzger) Barnhart; paternal grandmother, Jan Prystawski; paternal grandfather, Thorton Wagner, Jr., and his wife, Gina; brother, Brandon Taylor Ranck; half-brother, Joey Wagner; three uncles, Frank Barnhart and his wife, Lisa, Michael Barnhart and his wife, Melanie, and Nate Wagner and his wife, Ashley; seven cousins, Steven Barnhart, Seth Barnhart, Jordan Barnhart, Sierra Daily and her husband, Austin, Nathan Barnhart, Elaina Barnhart, and Evie Wagner; two nephews, Mason Wagner, and Chase Wagner; and two second cousins, Harrison Barnhart, and Jonas Daily. Alexis was preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Wagner; and a sister, Kiley Ranck.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Dressler, officiating, at the First Baptist Church, Sunbury. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be held following the service at Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
