On Sunday morning , the Lords angels gently carried Alice L. Mogg home to be with her Heavenly Father. Alice was born in Coleman, Michigan on November 10th ,1939, Daughter of the late Donald J. Dickinson and Bertha Jolfs-Medford.

On November 24th 1956 she married Lewis B. Mogg, who proceeded her in death, and together they had five children, Tonia (Brad) Crampton of Midland MI , Lewis Craig Mogg of Clare MI , Kimberly Spence of Woodbridge VA, Valerie Lueders of Midland MI, and Dedra (Patrick) Channell of Travelers Rest SC; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; brother Dewy (Marsha) Dickinson of Clare MI; sister, Lois (Glen) Kisler of Shepherd MI; step brother, Vernon (Beverly) Medford of Oil City MI; and step sister-in-law, Nancy Medford of Oil City MI; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Donna (Joe) Noak, and Judy Anger; step brothers, Gerald Medford, Jack (Ellen) Medford; and step sister, Bonnie (Hugh) Robinson.

Alice was a spirited and loving woman whose life was filled with compassion, laughter, and service. In her earlier years, she worked alongside her best friend Pat Menther at the Coleman Restaurant, where many friendships and memories were made. Alice had a deep love for angels, birds, and the beauty of nature - often picking wildflowers and collecting rocks from ditches with friends. She was a devoted member of Community of Christ Church, serving faithfully as a deacon and playing an active role in the Women's Department and outreach efforts, including coordinating for Outreach International and helping with local soup kitchens. Alice's talents extended to the kitchen, where she was a Chili Cook-Off Champion and could always be found cooking up something special-whether at home, church, or the Sanford Reunion Grounds, where she loved to camp. Professionally, she was dedicated and hardworking, having owned her own cleaning business, worked at Community Mental Health, and at the Clare Lab. She also found joy and connection attending the Ladies Club at Westland Church. Above all, Alice's heart was with her family-always cheering on her children and grandchildren with unwavering love and pride.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Alice L. Mogg will take place 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Community of Christ Church, 407 E Adam's St, Coleman MI, with visitation on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service, after which a graveside committal service will take place at Denver Township/Riverlawn Cemetery.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Outreach International and/or Sanford Campgrounds in care of Coleman Community of Christ Church, 407 E. Adams St, PO Box 471, Coleman MI 48618.
