In addition to caring for and nurturing her family, Margie also enjoyed being a part of her church family where she taught children's Sunday School for many years. Although she resided in Lakeland, Florida for many years. She loved her Hometown Philadelphia where her sisters and brother live Elena Stephanie and Robert. She had one brother in Florida, Benny Lopez, who she loved very much 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Her life and unconditional love will forever be remembered and will continue on as a memory of who she was, it will never fade from any of us, on July 14th, 2024, Margie was called by the Lord to come and be with him in eternity and once again she obeyed. May her legacy live on in every one of us as the Lord calls us to move in this world. May we remember the footsteps of this beautiful woman and example she left before us and may we be as obedient as she has always been until we see you again Mom, our greatest treasure and love of our life. My mom was my hero, my biggest fan. We could do no wrong in her eyes. She loved everyone, hated no one and prayed for everyone. I am trying to find my way and how I will go on without her. I know she would tell me to pray and take one day at a time. I miss her and I will never stop thinking of her and all the love she gave me.

Something I learned from Nanny is how to take a joke. She put her hand on my stomach and asked me how far along I was; I'm a man. Typically, I'd be agree, but hearing her laughter and seeing the joking nature, I realized it was just a joke. That's a lesson I've used just about everyday in life. I can't believe you're gone, Nanny. I may not have known you well, or even that long, but I will always treasure the time we did share.

I remember the last time she was in PA after her back surgery we were dancing and she was telling me that she can really shake her hips now! She will forever be my boogie down partner. Even though we had a short time together she is my favorite nanny and can´t help but cherish every memory we shared.
Love you so much until we meet again.

I always felt special, felt loved, being in Margie's presence whether by phone or in person. She would ask, "how's Grace doing?", inquiring about my walk with the Lord. I am so grateful to have known her these past few years. I will never forget her beautiful smile, her voice, and that twinkle in her eye when she's being funny. I am grateful to the family for sharing her with me in life, as I share your grief in her passing. God bless you and keep you!

She was my grandma and great grandma to my twins. We named one after her, and although she didn´t get the chance to meet them she loved them dearly. She loved my whole little family. Her name and story will live on, We miss you nanny, and we will make sure to tell the girls stories about you.

My Daddy was her Godfather. Margie called him Padrino. Because of this all of the children called him Padrino. This is something he will always cherish. We will always remember our Margie. Love, Padrino, Zayda and Dency.
