Alice Raiford Peltier, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on Wednesday, February 6, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Grover and Bertha Richard Raiford.
Alice is survived by her husband of 54 years, Glenn Peltier, daughter, Lynette Peltier(Troy); son & daughter-in-law, Wade and Melissa R. Peltier; grandchildren, Tyler(Brooke), Braedyn, Blaine and Abby; great-granddaughter, Chloe and her mother Shelby; brother, Danny Raiford; four sisters, Ella Milton, Judy Sievers, Pat Altwater, and Bonnie Jenkins; .
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Bertha R. Raiford; and granddaughter, Jenna L. Fabre.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Collins Cemetery, in Lee's Landing, Louisiana on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 10:00 am, with Rev Felix Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at Collins Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
The family would like to thank their church family at Fellowship Baptist Church and Interim Hospice for their care and compassion for Alice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
