In loving memory of Glenn Thomas LeBlanc--Loving Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather
Glenn Thomas LeBlanc, age 80, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Saturday, June 28, 2025. He was born and raised on a 10 acre strawberry farm inside the city limits of Ponchatoula, the son of the late Braville J. LeBlanc and Helia Landry LeBlanc. Glenn was the youngest of six boys and is survived by his brother, Macklyn LeBlanc(Beverly). Glenn graduated from St, Joseph Catholic School in 1959, before graduating from Ponchatoula High School in 1963. He retired from Turner Industries after dedicated services of 35 years. Glenn enjoyed jitterbug dancing, drinking ice cold beer(until getting pie-eyed), and having a good time with family and friends.
Glenn is survived by his son, Braville J. LeBlanc(LouAnn); daughter, Dawn LeBlanc Brooks(Tarvin "Boo"); grandchildren, Brittany Harris Veach(Josh), Joshua LeBlanc(Landon), Garrett "Kasey" Brooks(Rachael), Savannah Brooks(Breanna), and Tyler LeBlanc(Cali); great-grandchildren, Gaige, Brodie, Eli, Dax, Paisleigh, Tre', Wyatt; and his beloved dancing partner and girlfriend, Gladys.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Braville J. LeBlanc and Helia Landry LeBlanc; wife of 36 years, Virgie Eleser LeBlanc; brothers, Hamil, Eric "Toby", Calvin, and Calby.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the amazing staff at Bridgeway Home Health and Hospice. Thank you for treating Dad with so much kindness, love, and respect. All of you made this time that much easier by helping with his care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue at the funeral home the following day, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, beginning at 8:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
