Alice G. Ramirez-Corbin

Alice G. Ramirez-Corbin, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of the Victoria community, peacefully passed away on November 9, 2025, in Victoria, Texas. Born on August 20, 1936, to the late Felipe Garza Sr. and Elvira Sainz, Alice's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and resilience.
Alice's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her family. She was a loving wife to her late husband, Jesse G. Ramirez Sr. and together they nurtured a family full of warmth and strong values. As a devoted mother, Alice's legacy is carried on by her children: Debra Rodriguez (Jesse) of Goliad, Texas; Alyssa Ramirez of Houston, Texas; Jesse G. Ramirez Jr. (Angela) of Bloomington, Texas; Richard Ramirez (Celvia) of Victoria, Texas; and Michael Ramirez (Leann) of Fairbanks, Alaska. 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Alice was the cornerstone of her family, a sister who was deeply loved and respected. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Jesse G. Ramirez Sr. and 2nd husband, John Corbin, a granddaughter, Andrea Ramirez and grandson, Armando Torres IV. Siblings Guadalupe Sainz Garza, Gilbert Garza, and Ignacio Garza. Her surviving brothers, Felipe Garza Jr. (Rosa) of Houston, Texas, and Henry Garza Sr. (Mary) of Goliad, Texas, along with her youngest brother, George Garza (Patricia) of Kenedy.
Alice loved God and was an active member of Western Hills Baptist Church in Victoria, Tx. Alice's life was a beautiful tapestry of moments shared with loved ones. She was known for her kindness, her grace, and her ability to make everyone around her feel special.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the pallbearers who will carry Alice on her final journey: Mike A. Beyer, Brandon Torres, Jonathan Ramirez, Kyle Ramirez, Philip Garza, and Shane Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers, including Joshua Ramirez, will also be present to honor her memory and the impact she made on their lives.
Visitation will begin on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home in Victoria, Tx with at chapel service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
