Ipswich, MA - Alicia Orfanos, 73, of Ipswich, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Georgelas) Fava and partner of the late Carolyn Chase. Alicia was born in Greece and raised in Lynn with her brother Anthony. Alicia went to Lynn English High School and graduated in 1970 and went onto continue her education at Andover Institute of Business where she got her diploma of Executive Secretarial Sciences.
- Alicia was employed by the American Telephone and Telegraph Company and then was employed as a Home Health Aide for 30 years until she retired in 2016.
In Alicia's free time she loved spending time with her children. Alicia enjoyed drawing, playing Sudoku and spending time with her cats.
Alicia is survived by: Her daughter Lisa Orfanos and her partner Nelson Dyer of Panama City, her son Michael and his wife Nicole Orfanos and her grandson Michael Orfanos of Ipswich, her foster daughter Fawn Philbrook of San Diego, her foster son Justin and his wife Aly Philbrook and their four children Ryker, Romey, Kaya, and Layla of Georgetown, her brother Anthony and his wife Arlene Fava of Peabody, her cousin Michelle and husband James Amato of Rowley, her brother in law Kenneth Chase of Wakefield, and last but not least her beloved cats Squeaky and Bibi.
A celebration of life for Alicia will take place at a later date. Contributions may be made in her memory to ASPCA. Arrangements by Campbell Funeral Home, 6 high St., Ipswich, MA. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
