Heather Bruce, age 52, of Malden, MA, passed away peacefully at home. Born on October 2, 1972, Heather was the beloved daughter of Charlene (Hunt) Levesque. She grew up in Ipswich and attended Ipswich public schools before earning her bachelor's degree from Suffolk University. A lifelong learner, Heather was always seeking knowledge and new experiences.
Heather was passionate about travel and made it a priority to see as much of the world as she could. She cherished the memories and loved sharing her stories with family and friends.
She especially adored her nieces and nephews, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride. Known as the "yes" aunt, Heather was always ready for another round of board games.
Heather will be remembered most for her generous spirit. While she gave to many causes throughout her life, giving vulnerable children and their families the Christmas they hoped for was of top priority.
Heather is survived by her loving mother and stepfather, Charlene and David Levesque of Rowley; her sisters, Hilary (Bruce) Connell and her husband, Timothy, and their children, Margaret and Bennett, of Amesbury, MA; and Kate (Bruce) Martin and her husband, Charles, and their children, Hope and Charles, of Providence, RI. She also leaves her aunt, Suzanne Fiske, and her husband, John, of Canaan, NH; four stepsisters; and two stepbrothers.
She was predeceased by her grandmother, Jean (Hough) Hunt, of Fort Myers, FL.
Her funeral service will be held at Campbell Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich, on Saturday, September 20 at 12PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 10am to 12pm. Contributions may be made in Heather's memory to The Home for Little Wanderers, 72 E Dedham Street, Boston, MA 02118 https://secure2.convio.net/hlw/site/Donation2;?df_id=5160&mfc_pref=T&5160.donation=form1.
