Allen "Keith" Hebert, 65, of Humble, Texas passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025.
Keith was born in Jennings, Louisiana, to Allen Joseph Hebert and Norma Jean Broussard Hebert. Keith was a proud graduate of Olathe High School. He spent much of his life as a successful realtor, building lasting relationships through his work and his easygoing, friendly nature.
Above all, Keith was a devoted father to Erin Campbell and husband Ryan, Cory Hebert, Anne Hebert and husband Josh, and Ashley Hebert and husband Will Lofton, and a loving grandfather to Mac, Riley, Allen Kole, Jackson, and Heather. He had a gift for connecting with people, never meeting a stranger, and always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or share a story. His passion for fishing along the Texas-Louisiana coast, his love for seafood and good food, and cheering on his favorite teams-the Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, and Houston Astros-were among his greatest joys.
Keith was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, his siblings Cheryl Sweigart, and husband Paul, and Donna Acosta, and husband Matt, as well as his children and grandchildren. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Darst Funeral Home located at 796 Russell Palmer Road, Kingwood, Texas. A celebration of his life will follow at Nico's Bar and Grill (Kingwood Neapolitan Bar and Grill) located at 22610 Loop 494, Kingwood, Texas.
For our family and friends in Louisiana, a visitation and funeral will be held at Johnson Funeral Home located 4321 Lake Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana following with burial at Our Lady Star of the Sea Cemetery at 135 Our Lady Road, Cameron, Louisiana early next week. We will update these details after they are finalized.
