Allen Liao, 73, of Vernon, loving husband of Teresa Liao, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Allen was born on March 24, 1952, in Taiwan China, one of two sons of the late Robert and Mary Liao.
He graduated from Boston University, having earned a master's degree in education.
Allen worked for over 30 years at the Connecticut Veterans Administration, until his retirement in 2022. He enjoyed fishing and volunteer work.
In addition to his wife, Teresa, he leaves his two cherished children, Emily and Justin, his brother, Felix Liao and several other family members.
At Allen's request, funeral services and burial in Valley Falls Cemetery in Vernon will be private. There are no calling hours. Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home in Vernon has care of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cornerstone Soup Kitchen.
