Paul G. Boilard, 82, of Vernon, beloved husband of 36 years to Sheila (Anderson) Boilard, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1943, in New Britain, one of five children to the late Joseph and Alice (Camden) Boilard.

Paul grew up in Plainville, attended local schools and was a graduate of Plainville High School, Class of 1961. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country from June of 1966 to May of 1968. For most of his life, Paul was employed at various bakeries throughout Connecticut, most notably his 20-year career at Boston Bakery in Rockville. In his spare time, you could find him outside in his sanctuary- his vegetable garden. There he found peace and enjoyed collecting his crops to share with family, neighbors and friends. Although our time with Paul has come to an end, his memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends for years to come.

In addition to his wife Sheila, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Boilard of Erwin, NC, and Rehbeka Boilard of Willimantic; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Paul was predeceased by his parents, and his siblings and their spouses, Ida Michaud and her husband Emil, Carmella McKeon and her husband Donald, Marcel Boilard and his wife Maryange, and Norman Boilard and his wife Lucille.

Paul's family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and aids at Complete Care at Fox Hill Center, especially nurses, Cathy and Loren, and aids, Jose and Paco. Your kindness will always be remembered.

Funeral services for Paul will be held privately. Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, in Vernon, are in care of his arrangements.
