Amanda Lee (Neal) Quint, 45, passed away suddenly on April 15th, 2025, at her home in Round Lake
Beach. Born on August 4th, 1979, in Waukegan, IL, to her loving parents, Richard C. and Deborah K.
(Ward) Neal, Amanda grew up in Wadsworth, where she attended Millburn Grade School and
graduated from Warren Township High School in 1998.
It was during high school that she met Jeremy Quint, and their romance blossomed in 2002. Amanda
and Jeremy were married in July of 2005 at St. Patrick's Church in Wadsworth, he was a devoted and
loving husband and together they built a nurturing home in Round Lake Beach, where they had resided
since 2003. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Alanna (born 2004) and Kaitlyn (born
2007), who were the very essence of Amanda's life.
As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Amanda was the heart and soul of her household. She led with
warmth, managing day-to-day activities, organizing family events, volunteering at school, and
generously offering her assistance to others. A dedicated member of the Wadsworth Lions Club,
Amanda was known for her vivacious spirit and her ability to bring people together. Whether it was
planning a gathering, setting it up, or cleaning up afterward, Amanda's joyful energy illuminated every
occasion. She had an innate ability to sense when someone needed help and was always there to lend
a hand, demonstrating a caring and attentive nature that endeared her to many. Her love for her family
was the driving force behind all she did, reflecting the depth of her compassion in every moment
shared with them.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father-in-law Richard Quint. She is survived by her husband,
Jeremy, and their daughters, Alanna and Kaitlyn; her parents, Richard Sr. and Deborah Neal of
Wadsworth; and her siblings: Richard Jr. (Kathy) Neal of Round Lake Beach, Eugene (Annie) Neal of
Romona, California, and Holly Neal of Wadsworth; and her sister cousins: Jolene Hall (Steve Kruk) and
Alicia (Morgan) Hopfensperger. She is also survived by her siblings-in-law: Michelle Donnelly of
Bartlett, Jennifer Costa of Libertyville, Jonathan (Heather) Quint of Hartland, Anna (Mark) Miller of
Oconomowoc, Peter Quint of Pewaukee, Stephanie (Matthew) Barthel of Pewaukee, and Alice Quint of
Oconomowoc, as well as her mother-in-law, Karen Quint of Oconomowoc.
In accordance with Amanda's wishes, she will be cremated, with her ashes spread at her cherished
summer vacation destination, her happy place.
Friends are welcome for fellowship and a celebration of life, Saturday May 10th, 1-5pm at the Justen's
Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N Rosedale Ct, Round Lake, IL 60073. In lieu of flowers, donations to
the family, for the girls' college funds are warmly accepted
