Amber Elizabeth Malaska

Amber Elizabeth Malaska, 43, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on April 28, 2025. Amber was born on January 5, 1982, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she lived most of her life.
A proud graduate of Deer Creek High School in 2000, Amber pursued her passion for art at the University of Arkansas. There, she cultivated a lifelong love for creativity, which became a cornerstone of her life. Known for her warm smile and playful, silly vibe, Amber had a magnetic personality with a vibrant spirit and an artistic soul. As a proud Chickasaw, she carried her heritage with grace and strength, sharing her cultural pride with those around her.
Amber's greatest joy was her two beautiful daughters, Ruby Armedia Redden, 15, and River Katherine Redden, 8, both of Deer Creek. She leaves behind her father, Jim Malaska, her sister, Katy Haynes, and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Amber was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Kathy Malaska, and her dear brother, Luke Malaska.
