Born September 12, 1961, in Richmond, Indiana, to Edward and Faye Louise Sturgis Gilmore. Her father, Edward was killed in the explosion in downtown Richmond when Andi was young, her mother married Robert "Bo" Soper, and she was raised by him. She was a 1979 graduate of Richmond High School and was working in the Wayne County Courthouse Clerk's Office for the last eight years. Andi enjoyed reading, painting, crafts, travel, fishing and camping, playing cards, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, spending time with her grandchildren, and anything that involved her family being together. She was a member of Centerville Church of the Nazarene. Andi was a cornea donor, giving of herself so that someone else could have a chance of eyesight.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Kevin Ramsey, to whom she was married May 27, 2000; daughters, Michelle Ramsey, Britney (James) Ward, Betsy (Luke) Coyle, and Casie (Chris) Musselwhite; grandchildren, Victoria Ramsey, Bailee Hitch, Cameron (Hayley) Hitch, Elaina Musselwhite, Evan Musselwhite, Aubrianna Musselwhite, Brynn Coyle, Dylan Robinson, Haylee Hopkins, and Madison Hopkins; great-grandchildren, Zayden and Bentley; two brothers; two sisters; and friends at Centerville Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Gilmore and her mother and bonus dad, Robert "Bo" and Faye Louise Soper.
Visitation for Andrea "Andi" Ramsey will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Trevor Stanley officiating.
