RICHMOND, Ind. – Cheryl Lynn Tyner, age 61, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Brickyard – Golden Rule.
Born February 28, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of William V. and Donna G. Mounce Tyner, Cheryl was a life-long resident of Richmond. She was a 1982 graduate of Richmond High School. Cheryl received an associate's degree in accounting from Ivy Tech. She worked at Richmond High School as a Paraprofessional. Cheryl enjoyed Winnie the Pooh and was an excellent artist, especially drawing in pencil. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Donna Tyner; son, Michael Tyner; grandchildren, Tristan Harris and Lira Harris; sisters; and a special friend, Rebecca Sapp.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Tyner, in 2008 and a brother, Tracey Harless in 2017.
A Celebration of Life for Cheryl Lynn Tyner will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
