RICHMOND, IN– Donna S. Fish, age 82, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Reid Health.
Born January 20, 1943, in Richmond, Indiana, to William Otis and Laura Alice (McWhorter) Manley, Donna lived in this community most of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and received her Bachelor's in Education from Indiana University and Master's in education from Ball State. Donna was a lifelong educator and taught first grade at Baxter Elementary for 24 years. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church. Donna was married to her best friend and high school sweetheart, Bill Fish. She took great joy in spending time with her kids and grandkids and loved cooking and baking for her family. She and Bill created many wonderful memories while traveling together.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Bill Fish; son Andrew (Ashley) Fish, of Westfield, Indiana; daughter, Ann (Mark) York, of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Lauren York, Gavin York, Alexandra Fish, Ava Fish, and Annika Fish; sister, Marilyn Moore; sister-in-law, Jenny Fish; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, William Charles and Hazel Fish; brother-in-law, Dan Moore; and sister-in-law Janice Wiley.
Visitation for Donna will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m on Saturday, August, 16, 2025, at First Christian Church, 100 S 10th St., Richmond. A memorial service will follow at 2:00p.m. at the church with Rev. Cindy Ploughe officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to First Christian Church.
