Andrew J. Tammero, 37, of Sandy Hook passed away on August 17, 2025 at Danbury Hospital. He was born in Franklin Square, New York on April 4th, 1988 to the late William Tammero and Catherine Tammero.

Andrew was a life-long resident of Bethel before residing with his wife and four children in Sandy Hook. He acquired two master's degrees and was a teacher in Newtown and the Dean of Students/Athletic Director at Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury.

He leaves behind his wife, Autumn Tammero, and their four children, Paisley, Oliver, Elodie, and Lucy Tammero, his mother, Catherine Tammero, and his brother Eric Tammero. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive family and friends at Cornell Memorial at 247 White Street in Danbury on Thursday, August 21, from 4 - 7 PM.

Played ice hockey with Andrew some years ago in Danbury. He was such a friendly and positive person and teammate. I am saddened to learn of his passing at such a young age. Condolences to his family.
