Angela Dawn "Angie" Smith, 43, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, August 19th, 2025. She was born March 10th, 1982 in Georgetown, Ohio to her parents Charles Herbert "Chuck" Smith and Mildred Jo "Millie" (Mayhugh) Bowen.

Angie is survived by her daughter, Brianna Thompson of Indianapolis; her son, Tyler Thompson of Mooresville; grandson, Kaysen Thompson of Mooresville; her parents: Charles Herbert "Chuck" Smith and Mildred Jo "Millie" Bowen (John); two sisters: Julie Gerhart (Richard) of Beech Grove and Charlee Smith of Middletown, Ohio; grandmother: June Mayhugh; and nieces and nephews: Molly and Andrew Gerhart and Marlee Adorno.

Angie is preceded in death by her grandfather, Carroll Mayhugh Sr. and grandparents: Pauline and Herbert Smith.

Angie attended Mooresville High School and had a passion for baking, especially during the Christmas season with her family. She found joy in cooking and decorating cakes, celebrating her children's birthdays with special creations for her kids, nieces, and nephew.

Cherishing moments spent watching movies together, when her kids were little, she created lasting memories filled with laughter. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, Angie brought light into the lives of those around her. With a big heart for animals, she also loved planning joyful birthday parties.

She took pride in her makeup and nails, embodying beauty and self-expression. Angie's caring nature shone through as a funny and loving woman who was bold, strong, and courageous, inspiring those she encountered with her warmth and kindness.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 12 pm on Monday, September 15th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held on at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
